Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Director of Oncology Biostatistics to lead the Biostatistics function within therapeutic areas and provide statistical input to development strategies in a global setup. You will guide statisticians, manage resources, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires expertise in clinical trials, regulatory interactions, and leadership with a strong record in biostatistics and drug development.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with 12+ years in statistics/biostatistics or related field with clinical trials/drug development experience.
• Proficiency in SAS, R or Python with advanced statistical analysis and data manipulation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Experience in global regulatory interactions and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Biostatistics function across therapeutic areas.
• Provide statistical input to development strategies and project plans.
• Guide statisticians to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
• Manage resources, set priorities, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Represent the company in interfaces with regulatory agencies globally.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to SOPs and training.
