Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in the United States seeks a Director of Statistical Programming to provide technical leadership across portfolio delivery with high-quality, timely programming deliverables. You will partner with the Therapeutic Area Head to ensure successful implementation of strategies, lead a leadership team, set objectives, coach leaders, and recruit talent across the organization.

Qualifications

• MS with ~10+ years of industry related experience.
• BS with ~12+ years of industry related experience.
• Proven track record of leading business process transformations and cultural change.
• Proven ability to attract and retain talent.
• Operational experience in pharmaceutical drug development with exposure to clinical development.
• Healthcare business acumen and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficient knowledge of drug development, clinical trial methodology, regulatory guidance, and statistical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Leads statistical programming activities across an indication/disease area with quality and timeliness.
• Leads recruitment and retention strategies for Statistical Programming in collaboration with HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
• Leads indication/disease area level strategies.
• Sets tasks and prioritization across the indication/disease area.
• Engages cross functionally to progress tasks with influencing skills.
• Leads process improvement initiatives and identifies areas for improvement.
• Provides programming leadership to complex clinical project teams and vendors, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Guides development of innovative strategies and technologies for clinical trial programming at program level.
• Member of Extended Statistical Programming Leadership Team.
• Executes changes to drive efficiency in Statistical Programming.
