Primary responsibilities include:

  • Cash Management: Oversee the management of the organization's cash flow, ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet financial obligations. This includes overseeing banking relationships, optimizing cash balances, and investing surplus funds. Also, development of forecasting methodologies to enhance use of cash and minimize interest expense.
  • Treasury Operations: Direct day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, banking relationships, wire transfers, and other financial transactions. Management of liquidity globally, management of debt obligations, and assistance with ongoing requirements for letters of credit / guarantees for both corporate and business unit entities.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, such as foreign exchange risks, liquidity risk, or interest rate fluctuations. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and safeguard the organization's financial assets. Manage oversee the movement of foreign currencies to review risk associated with repatriation of funds.
  • Investment Management: Oversee investment activities, if applicable, to maximize returns while maintaining an acceptable level of risk. Monitor and evaluate investment performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Insurance: Assist with the annual insurance renewals, including working with the insurance brokers to compile information needed for the renewals. Maintain current insurance certificates and deliver certificates to appropriate third parties as required. Work with departments to understand risk management needs.
  • Support syndication and maintenance of credit facility
  • Financial Strategy and Advice: Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management supporting decision-making processes and strategic initiatives. Assess the financial impact of proposed projects or investments.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Represent the organization in financial matters and participate in relevant industry or professional associations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with financial industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • Experience in leadership role with increasing levels of responsibility for management and support of business strategy and operations
  • Experience building and managing high performing teams
  • Strong financial capabilities including skills to create and utilize complex financial models
  • Understanding of financial instruments, hedging and market dynamics
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; strong knowledge of cash management products, eBanking portals, and treasury management systems
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Location: Remote, United States

Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field preferably with advanced degree such as a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Experience: 6-8 years of experience in cash management, treasury and insurance risk management.
