Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a strategic leader to drive the technical development strategy for Well Construction Products and Production Services. The role translates business priorities into a multi-year competency roadmap, strengthening workforce readiness, career progression, and learning transformation.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to Segment leaders and functional heads, guiding training investments and AI adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in technical operations, technical development, workforce strategy in a global industrial or oilfield services.
Minimum: 8+ years of oilfield services required.
Proven experience leading technical learning and development strategy and influencing senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.
Strong executive communication skills, including delivering strategic, data-driven presentations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define and steer the technical development strategy across WCP and PRS to align with enterprise priorities.
Establish global standards and a long-term capability roadmap for governance and adoption.
Lead global capability governance forums to align stakeholders and address risks.
Drive workforce transformation initiatives, including multi-skilling and AI-enabled content.
