ByteDance is seeking a seasoned financial controls professional in Los Angeles to join the Financial Controls & Governance function. The role bridges financial reporting, IT controls, and audit readiness, demanding strategic vision and hands-on execution in a fast-moving tech environment.

You'll lead planning across group audits, coordinate remediation, and establish rigorous documentation to ensure accurate financial reporting and disclosure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT audit, financial reporting controls, or accounting advisory.
• Public accounting background and relevant professional certifications (CPA, CISA, CIA) preferred.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and external audit requirements.

Responsabilités

• Financial Reporting & IT Controls Governance: build and enhance the financial reporting controls framework and related IT environment.
• Develop controls standards, RCMs, process docs, testing workpapers and evidence requirements.
• Assess risks related to system access, change management, data interfaces, and data integrity.
• Partner with Technology, Security, Data, Platform, and Business teams to translate requirements into controls.
• Drive systemization, automation, and platformization of key controls.
