Google LLC in the United States seeks a Lead, Event Security Operations, Americas to oversee strategy, governance and end‑to‑end execution across major events such as developer summits and product launches. You will direct distributed security teams and prime vendors to standardize safety, compliance and operational efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security administration, business management, emergency management, public administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years leading an event security organization with multi‑milion dollar budgets.
• 5 years leading geographically distributed security teams and vendor ecosystems.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and develop distributed security teams with clear OKRs and career paths.
• Architect governance, playbooks, and operating procedures; serve as primary Incident Commander during crises.
• Collaborate with ESPI to implement defense‑in‑depth frameworks for High‑Impact Events.
• Build relationships with executives and coordinate with internal partners and external agencies.
• Manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets and oversee security vendors for contract compliance and cost optimization.
