Enterprise Solutions (ES) Technology is seeking a senior technology leader to partner with the Head of Technology for Enterprise Solutions, shaping the technology direction in a complex, regulated financial-services estate.

This hands-on principal engineer and architect role ensures strategy aligns with engineering reality while engaging with senior engineers, platform teams, and product partners to turn strategy into real designs that can be built and run.

Qualifications

• 25+ years of technology leadership in regulated environments.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, multi-year roadmaps and governance.
• Deep knowledge of distributed, event-driven, data-intensive systems and cloud platforms.
• Domain knowledge in financial services, AI/analytics in production.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of Technology to shape strategy and architecture.
• Translate strategy into designs that can be built and operated.
• Lead across multiple teams and domains with influence, not formal authority.
• Balance long-term vision with regulatory requirements and operational realities.
