Job summary

GE Vernova's Gas Power CM organization seeks a Document Management Category Owner to lead end-to-end documentation lifecycle—from planning and structuring through creation, ingestion, archiving and destruction. You will ensure standardization, structured workflows, and accessibility across global teams.

As a bridge between operations, technical systems, and regulatory requirements, you will drive standardized processes, improve productivity, and mitigate information risk by implementing metadata

Responsibilities

• Own the entire lifecycle of documents from the planning and structuring flow to creation and ingestion to archiving and destruction.
• Map, document, and continuously improve processes to eliminate inefficiencies.
• Establish and enforce document standards, including metadata schemas, naming conventions, and security classifications.
• Ensure adherence to global compliance standards, data privacy laws, and industry-specific regulations.
• Act as the business owner for the Document Management System (PLM).
• Partner with IT to define system requirements, oversee software updates, and champion new tool platforms and automation tools.
• Establish KPIs for process and documentation health; analyze data to provide actionable insights to leadership.
