Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Collegeville, PA is seeking a senior procurement leader to oversee global Digital & Technology categories, drive multi-year sourcing strategies, and lead high-value negotiations across the procurement-to-pay cycle.

You will partner with internal tech stakeholders, manage a global procurement team, and build education and communication around category strategies to deliver cost savings, quality, and supply assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, business, or finance.
• Proven procurement experience across categories and spend.
• Experience developing multi-year business strategies.
• Experience leading large projects and change management.
• Ability to assess value, risks, and market drivers for category strategy.
• Strong influence with global stakeholders and supplier management.
• Analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing strategies impacting quality of service, supply and cost savings.
• Plan, oversee, and lead high-value, long-term negotiations.
• Partner with customer groups to deliver strategic procurement solutions.
• Manage a global team of procurement leaders across direct, indirect and matrix reporting.
• Create global category strategies and communicate cross-category impacts.
• Build business cases for change and obtain approvals to execute strategies.
• Deliver strategy benefits aligned to risk, compliance, quality, service, cost and innovation.
• Lead complex negotiations with Tech suppliers to maximize global opportunities.
• Build senior relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers to identify value opportunities.
