Job summary

newcleo is seeking a Global Head of Cyber Security to protect its IT, OT and critical digital assets across the US and Europe. The role leads governance, risk management and a multi-location security function, reporting to the Head of IT RUN and to the Audit & Risk Committee.

Responsibilities include defining security governance, overseeing architecture and control frameworks, and driving security across cyber defence, incident response and regulatory compliance in nuclear-adjacent environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CISO / Head of Cyber Security in a global, multi-site organisation.
• Deep expertise across IT, OT/ICS security and critical digital assets in regulated environments.
• Strong track record engaging Boards, Audit & Risk Committees and regulators on cyber risk.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and nuclear-sector regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain cyber security governance framework, policies and maturity roadmap.
• Oversee enterprise security architecture, IAM, zero trust and cloud security across IT/OT.
• Lead global cyber security function and manage budgets and suppliers.
• Oversee threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response and crisis management.
• Maintain alignment with NRC 10 CFR 73.54, NIS2, GDPR and IAEA guidance.
