Job summary

PHC Corporation of North America seeks a Director of Cell & Gene Therapy Global Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives, drive market expansion, and build global partnerships. This highly visible role collaborates with PHC Japan and other stakeholders to enhance PHC’s leadership in the Cell & Gene Therapy ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be located in Illinois or the Northeast US and brings a track record of senior sales leadership in life sciences, with strong negotiation

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MBA a plus.
• 10+ years of senior-level sales management or equivalent leadership experience in life sciences.
• Proven track record in strategic business development within Cell & Gene Therapy or related fields.
• Deep understanding of global market dynamics, regulatory environments, and complex distribution channels.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading strategic alliances and working with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic partnerships and new business development initiatives to drive growth of PHC's Cell & Gene Therapy business.
• Collaborate with industry partners to expand PHC’s solution portfolio and strengthen its market position.
• Origin and secure new business opportunities that contribute meaningful revenue growth.
• Establish and cultivate partnerships with multinational pharma, academia, and key opinion leaders.
• Develop commercial and technical partnerships by identifying suitable partners and building collaborations.
• Implement best practices for channel management and conflict resolution across markets.
• Monitor global market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
• Drive launches and portfolio expansion globally; align go-to-market with R&D, marketing, and operations teams.
