Job summary

PHCNA seeks a Director of Cell & Gene Therapy Global Business Development to lead strategic growth, drive market expansion, and build partnerships worldwide. You will partner with PHC Japan and global teams to shape product strategy and revenue growth in this high-impact area.

The role requires a senior leader with deep life sciences expertise, strong deal-making skills, and the ability to influence across R&D, marketing, and operations. Location preference is Illinois or Northeast US.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required; MBA a plus.
• 10+ years’ senior level sales management or leadership in life sciences.
• Knowledge and understanding of complex sales channels.
• Proven track record in strategic business development within Cell & Gene Therapy or related fields.
• Deep understanding of global market dynamics, regulatory environments, and complex distribution channels.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven experience leading strategic alliances and negotiating with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic partnerships and new business development initiatives to drive sustainable growth.
• Drive collaboration with industry partners to expand PHC’s solution portfolio.
• Origin and secure new business opportunities contributing meaningful revenue growth.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with multinational pharma and academia.
• Develop commercial and technical partnerships for Cell & Gene Therapy products.
• Implement best practices for channel management and conflict resolution across markets.
• Monitor global market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
• Drive initiatives for new product launches and portfolio expansion globally.
• Partner with global R&D, marketing, and operations on go-to-market strategies.
• Represent PHC’s Cell & Gene Therapy business in global leadership forums.
