Job summary

State Street is seeking a Global Head of Business Operations to partner with the COO, leading the integrated management of the Office of the COO and driving strategic execution across Finance Technology, governance and reporting.

The role oversees a globally distributed organization, partnering with Investments, Institutional, Global Client Coverage Group, and corporate functions to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive executive leadership experience spanning strategy, global program or portfolio execution and people management.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing cross-organizational teams in a complex global environment.
• Significant experience leading technology, finance transformation or finance systems teams and delivering complex multi-year change.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic and operational objectives for the COO organization and track performance against KPIs.
• Build relationships across the COO leadership team to advance strategic initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and organizational optimization opportunities.
• Lead the annual COO strategic investment prioritization process and deliver governance with stakeholders.
