Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Sr. Director, Solution Architecture, Medical AI Acceleration and Delivery to lead the global architectural governance for the Medical Affairs AI portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years IT/architecture experience; 8+ years hands-on in solution architecture.
• Experience designing AI-oriented solutions (LLMs, RAG, agentic systems) and data integrations.
• Leadership of digital professionals (UX, Scrum, Eng) and coordinating matrixed resources.
• Strong communication skills with VP-level audience experience.
• Hands-on AI/NLP/LLM implementations; cloud architecture (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural blueprints, integration frameworks, and standards globally.
• Act as primary solution architect for enterprise platforms and document approaches.
• Partner with Product Owners and Engineering to translate capabilities into architectures.
• Ensure designs comply with GxP, HIPAA, GDPR and AI ethics.
• Drive data integration across Veeva, PromoMats, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud.
• Design autonomous AI agents, multi-agent workflows, and orchestration frameworks.
• Architect multilingual, regionally compliant AI solutions across regulatory boundaries.
• Set environment strategy, CI/CD for LLM-based solutions, and AI telemetry.
