Job summary

H.B. Fuller Company is hiring a Hazmat Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an on-site 1st shift in Wilmington, CA. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with a pay range of $20–$25 per hour.

Responsibilities include documentation, hazmat coordination, inventory control, and safe forklift operation. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2+ years in shipping/receiving with hazmat experience, plus DOT/IATA and hazardous waste certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• US DOT/IATA 49CFR 172.704/DGR 1.5 certifications required.
• CA Title 22 Hazardous Waste Generator certification required.
• 2+ years clerical shipping/receiving experience and 2+ years hazmat shipment experience.
• Proficiency in UPS/FedEx systems, MS Office, forklift operation; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation.
• Coordinate domestic and international hazmat shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records.
• Operate forklift and material-handling equipment safely.
• Use UPS and FedEx software for shipment processing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet daily workload requirements.
• Support compliance with hazardous waste and dangerous goods regulations.
• Maintain organized work areas and complete data entry tasks.
