Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic Inspector to inspect and troubleshoot a range of wheeled and commercial equipment, including tractors, generators, and lift equipment.

The role requires hands-on inspection and diagnostic work to ensure serviceability and compliance with safety standards. The incumbent will operate various tools and systems, including G-Army, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment at Fort Bragg-related

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Automotive/General Equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, in-process and final inspections.
• Inspect and test wheeled and commercial equipment for serviceability and operation.
• Determine faults beyond normal wear (OTFWT).
• Dispose of hazardous materials per state/local/federal standards.
• Use automated logistics information system (G-Army).
• Use computer systems (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Maintain housekeeping, property accountability, and safety.
• Operate welding, torches, pressure testers and electrical testers as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
