Evidence Action is seeking a Group Controller in Washington, DC to lead the organization's central accounting function and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting under US GAAP. You will own close processes, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations, while guiding policy, controls, and automation.

Qualifications

• CPA credential required or in process.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and grant reporting.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and financial close.

Responsibilities

• Own central monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation under US GAAP.
• Design and maintain internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Lead audits, tax/compliance, and donor/grant reporting; partner with CFO and Audit & Finance Committee.
