Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a Grants Acquisition Specialist to collaborate with regional teams to identify, vet, and develop proposals for funding opportunities aligned with IJM's mission. The role supports pre-positioning, proposal development, capacity building, and portfolio management from our Washington, DC area office, with hybrid work options.

Baseline qualifications include at least five years in grant funding, a bachelor's degree, strong communication, and experience

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in acquiring and/or managing grant funding from governments, corporations, foundations and multilateral agencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience partnering with cross-cultural regional teams and donors.

Responsibilities

• Support mapping and prioritization of donor opportunities for regional offices.
• Develop proposals, coordinate donor requirements, and edit content.
• Coach regional teams and develop training materials on grant acquisition.
• Maintain Salesforce and grant opportunity data across portfolios.
• Foster external relationships with grantors and partners.
