Job summary

ABS Bureau in Houston seeks a Global Government Program Manager to lead development, execution, and in-service growth of ABS products and services for US and international government programs.

You will coordinate with ABS departments and external stakeholders, manage budget, schedule, and technical issues, and drive contract compliance, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant discipline required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in marine or related industries preferred.
• Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, MBA, or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned programs.
• Act as liaison between the client and all departments within ABS.
• Review bids and proposals to ensure they meet policy and customer requirements.
• Lead day-to-day execution of all assigned projects or programs.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure transparency, customer satisfaction, and policy compliance.
• Provide oversight to achieve cost, schedule, performance, and contractual requirements; allocate resources accordingly.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation actions; maintain financial controls.
• Manage program from award through completion and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Prepare timely reports and maintain project documentation per contract requirements.
• On-site client visits as necessary and support business development and contract management.
