Select Sires, Inc. in Plain City, OH, seeks a Shipping Technician to join our production and distribution team. You will package bovine semen orders and handle shipping paperwork to ensure accurate delivery to livestock producers nationwide.

This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain inventory records and follow safety procedures while supporting departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Package bovine semen orders according to distribution requests.
• Process shipping paperwork and documentation with accuracy.
• Update inventory records using proprietary software systems.
• Move products to designated storage locations.
• Monitor liquid nitrogen levels in storage tanks and shipping containers.
• Safely move inventory tanks and handle materials.
• Assemble goblets and prepare canes with identification tags.
• Detect and report defective materials or unusual conditions.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
• Follow established quality standards and safety requirements.
• Support departmental production goals and operational efficiency.
