Job summary

The Brookings Institution invites undergraduates or graduate students to join the Gender and Education Equality (GEET) team within the Center for Universal Education. You will support research and program activities for the Echidna Global Scholars Program while developing analytical and writing skills in a professional setting.

This hybrid internship is located in the United States, requires being in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Advanced undergraduates (junior or senior) or graduate students.
• Experience in literature searches and reviews.
• Strong written, organizational, and communication skills.
• Interest in intersectional gender, education, and global development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct background research on gender, education, and global development topics and draft summaries for blogs or presentations.
• Provide administrative support for Echidna Global Scholars Fellowship, plan weekly meetings, and monitor project deliverables.
