Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. seeks current undergraduates or master's students in accounting for its Global Fund Accounting & Finance Summer Analyst Program.

This hands-on program develops technical accounting skills to administer alternative investment funds and provides exposure to senior management, mentors, and targeted training. Analysts will support a range of funds, including Private Equity, Real Estate, Credit, and Hedge Fund Solutions.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA.
• Strong academic record with quantitative focus and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records and review daily cash and investment activity.
• Monitor and report on credit facility activity and capital drawdowns/distributions.
• Review waterfall calculations and prepare management fee calculations and statements.
• Assist with quarterly and audited annual reports, including footnotes.
• Collaborate with technology teams to improve system functionality.
