Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Manager to lead the Pre-MOR team in Boise, Idaho. You will guide engineers and experts to convert technology requirements into equipment, capacity, space, and capital plans supporting upcoming technology nodes and manufacturing transitions.

You will collaborate with R&D, Production, Core Engineering, Site Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Planning to drive readiness and efficiency, developing data-driven decision-support tools and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or quantitative field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor technology or related functions.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional programs and influencing outcomes.
• Strong analytical, financial, project leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a group of Pre-MOR engineers and SMEs.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across R&D, Production, Core Engineering, Site Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Planning.
• Drive manufacturing readiness strategies by converting technology requirements into equipment, capacity, space, utility, and capital plans.
• Lead initiatives to improve cleanroom space efficiency, utility trade ratios, and manufacturing productivity.
• Develop decision frameworks linking technology development, transition costs, and capital requirements.
• Define and maintain modeling methodologies and analytical frameworks for planning capabilities.
• Advance automation, analytics, and AI-enabled decision-support solutions.
• Influence executive decision-making with clear recommendations, risks, and trade-offs.
