Job summary

Kalitta Air seeks pilot applicants for the First Officer role to support global airlift operations. The candidate will assist the Captain, follow FARs and company policies, and participate in CRM to safely fly aircraft worldwide.

Responsibilities include preflight and post-flight inspections, paperwork support, and maintaining strict adherence to procedures. A current US passport and clean background are required, with specific flight-hour thresholds and certifications pursued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1,700 total flight hours; 2,000+ hours preferred.
• 700+ hours in multi-engine aircraft required.
• Current US passport with no travel restrictions.
• Ability to pass 10-year background check and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Perform preflight inspections of the aircraft and freight.
• Assist the crew with necessary paperwork.
• Operate the aircraft with attention to procedures and regulations.
• Identify and report any unsafe conditions on ground or in flight.
• Perform post-flight inspections of the aircraft.
