Job summary

Priority Worldwide is hiring an International Freight Forwarding Quoting Specialist in Los Angeles to build accurate and competitive air and ocean freight quotes for a wide range of international shipments, including government/defense logistics. This on-site role requires strong organization, timely quoting, and comfort with AI-assisted tools and CargoWise.

You will source rates, negotiate with carriers and vendors, and collaborate with sales to convert quotes into shipments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in international freight forwarding pricing/quoting (air & ocean).
• Strong knowledge of global logistics and transportation modes.
• Confidence negotiating rates with carriers and vendors.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• CargoWise experience preferred.
• Comfortable with AI-assisted tools for quoting, pricing, or workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate and competitive air & ocean freight quotes.
• Develop customized pricing solutions for commercial and government/defense shipments.
• Source and negotiate rates directly with carriers, agents, and vendors.
• Analyze routing, transit times, equipment, and compliance requirements.
• Manage quotes within deadlines with high accuracy.
• Utilize CargoWise for quoting and rate analysis.
• Partner with sales and operations to convert quotes into shipments.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients.
