Job summary

Skechers, headquartered in Southern California, seeks a Sr Manager, International Retail Franchise Development to lead and expand Skechers’ global franchise network. You will collaborate with merchandising, marketing, legal, and store operations to support franchisees and drive profitability.

You’ll guide franchise partners, oversee store proposals, and expand locations worldwide, providing strategic training and quarterly leadership updates.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required as stated.
• 5+ years of related experience in franchise/business development.
• Industry experience in retail and consumer products.
• Analytical mindset for retail metrics.
• Ability to manage partnerships and training.

Responsibilities

• Address franchise contract renewals as they come due to ensure partners are aligned with brand objectives.
• Reviews new store proposals by size, location, profitability, and image.
• Motivate partners to have their store look, feel and operate like Skechers.
• Provide targeted training on a continual basis for franchise operations.
• Provide operational support to franchise owners as needed.
• Supervises a team of retail experts to support partners’ success across POP, calendars, promotions, inventory, and training.
• Evaluates performance of third-party stores against company metrics and market events.
• Nurture relationships with existing franchisees and support their expansion plans.
• Expand global retail footprint by identifying strategic locations for new openings.
• Provide quarterly updates to the executive board on store portfolio metrics.
