Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a senior leader to head FP&A Model Development (C16) in New York. The role directs forecasting models for Balance Sheet and P&L, guiding tools, methods, and governance across Citi's global portfolios.

The candidate will shape long-term modeling strategy, drive AI/ML forecasting capabilities, and partner with senior Finance, Risk, and business leaders to align with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (PhD/Master's).
• Deep expertise in quantitative modeling and forecasting methodologies.
• Experience with AI/ML forecasting capabilities and regulatory expectations.
• Strong ability to communicate with senior leaders and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, enhancement, and governance of Balance Sheet and P&L forecasting models.
• Set strategic roadmap for FP&A model development aligned with regulatory objectives.
• Partner with Model Risk Management for full model lifecycle governance and validation.
• Support scenario-based forecasting with econometric assumptions and indicators.
• Engage with senior leaders to drive modeling priorities and stakeholder alignment.
• Represent the function in regulatory engagements and model governance reviews.
• Define modeling standards and enable technologies across the organization.
• Lead a global team of quantitative professionals with talent development and succession planning.
• Provide strategic oversight through portfolio reviews and remediation efforts.
