Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Molecular Diagnostics – Global Commercial FP&A Manager to join our Lake Forest, IL office. You will lead financial reporting and analysis of the AMD commercial P&L, delivering insights on sales and profitability to senior leadership.

You will collaborate with key business partners, drive forecasting and annual plans, and support pricing and profitability initiatives across markets and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required or preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting or finance experience with strong communication skills.
• Experience interacting with senior leadership and multiple levels in the organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand commercial strategies and create analysis to communicate financial components to senior leadership.
• Identify trend anomalies, risks and opportunities in sales and P&L.
• Support long-term sales strategy through forecasting and annual planning.
• Coordinate with area finance to meet deadlines for planning cycles and reports.
• Consolidate P&L forecasts for SG&A and rollforwards; prepare slides for global reviews.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, R&D and Legal to build business cases for new products.
• Provide support for Global Service operations and global commercial reporting.
• Assist with product pricing, margins, and profitability initiatives; ensure compliance with policies.
