Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead the global FP&A team. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and executive-level decision support, transforming data into insights for strategic growth.

You will partner with finance, operations, and marketing to improve forecast accuracy, develop models, and present actionable recommendations to management. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, finance business partnering, financial analysis, or similar.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Detail-oriented with leadership experience and ability to manage teams, projects, or complex planning processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to all management levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Provide financial data and ad hoc analysis to management within Emerson.
• Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, R&D, marketing to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for business decisions.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations communicating insights and actions.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly performance highlighting drivers and impacts.
• Drive process improvements through standardization, automation, and BI tools.
• Lead and develop finance team members in a collaborative environment.
