Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior maintenance and systems manager to lead preventive maintenance for electronic optical sorting equipment across multiple manufacturing sites. You will drive reliability of foreign material removal systems, coordinate PM events with local teams, troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems, and train operators and technicians to maintain high equipment performance.

The role requires 5+ years in systems management, a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Systems Management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Strong experience with electronic sorting systems or related automation equipment
• Experience in food manufacturing or peanut/agriculture processing preferred
• Ability to lead preventive maintenance programs and improve equipment reliability
• Strong documentation, communication, and project management skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Lead preventative maintenance for electronic optical sorting equipment across facilities
• Manage performance and reliability of foreign material removal systems
• Direct and support maintenance and operations teams during PM events
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, and control system issues
• Train operators and maintenance technicians on operations and maintenance procedures
• Monitor sorting programs and adjust settings for product changes
• Maintain spare parts inventory and repair documentation
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and QMS
• Provide technical support for a 24/7 operation
• Stay current with new technologies and equipment improvements
