Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Production Manager for its Las Cruces, New Mexico operation—the world’s largest processing facility of its kind. You will lead processing, filling, labeling and packaging teams, drive safety and efficiency, and manage budgets and KPIs to meet customer demand.

We seek a seasoned leader with GMP/HACCP knowledge, strong problem-solving skills and a track record of continuous improvement. Relocation assistance is available and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of food manufacturing leadership experience
• Proven success leading and developing production teams
• Experience managing production budgets, costs and financial performance
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, sanitation and food-safety requirements
• Experience using production KPIs to improve performance
• Continuous improvement experience
• SAP or comparable ERP experience
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred

• Leading, coaching and developing salaried and hourly production employees
• Developing supervisors and other members of the production leadership team
• Managing production performance against established KPIs
• Driving improvements in safety, quality, service, efficiency, waste and cost
• Optimizing labor, materials and production capacity
• Managing production schedules to achieve inventory and customer requirements
• Partnering with Quality to maintain GMP, HACCP and food-safety requirements
• Working closely with Maintenance, Warehouse, Facilities and other Operations leaders
• Supporting production budgets and analyzing financial performance
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
• Participating in capital investment and plant improvement projects
• Maintaining audit and inspection readiness
• Developing and maintaining SOPs
• Supporting sanitation and food-safety programs
• Building a strong culture of accountability, communication and continuous improvement
