Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Production Manager for its Las Cruces, NM operation. You will oversee processing, filling, labeling and packaging, leading a substantial manufacturing workforce and driving improvements in safety, quality and efficiency at a world-class facility.

The role requires 4+ years of leadership in food manufacturing, strong GMP/HACCP knowledge, and experience with ERP systems like SAP. Excellent communication and bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of food manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading production teams and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, sanitation and food-safety requirements.
• Experience using KPIs to drive improvements.
• SAP or comparable ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop salaried and hourly production employees.
• Develop supervisors and production leadership team.
• Manage production performance against KPIs.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, waste and cost.
• Optimize labor, materials and production capacity.
• Manage production schedules to meet inventory and customer requirements.
• Partner with Quality to maintain GMP, HACCP and food-safety requirements.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Warehouse, Facilities and other Operations leaders.
• Support production budgets and analyze financial performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Participate in capital investment and plant improvement projects.
• Maintain audit and inspection readiness.
• Develop and maintain SOPs.
• Support sanitation and food-safety programs.
• Build a culture of accountability, communication and continuous improvement.
