Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Python-free, hands-on engineer to evolve a live digital health app for adults 50+ with cognitive concerns. You’ll own features end to end, from UX on Flutter apps to API design in Node.js, collaborating with medical staff and product teams.

This is a fully remote, worldwide role with a Berlin-time overlap requirement where needed. You’ll join a small team, reporting to the CTO, and have ownership over critical releases while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven Flutter/Dart skills or fast ramp-up from related tech.
• Working knowledge of Node.js and API design.
• Strong written and spoken English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Frontend evolution of Flutter app for users aged 50+ with emphasis on UX.
• Backend design and API development in Node.js for new features.
• Collaborate with medical/product teams; voice matters in what we build.
• Maintain code quality, reviews, and testing for a regulated medical product.
• Optional: contribute to DevOps and cloud infra, CI/CD, deployment.
