Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Advanced degree (MA in Communications, Journalism or equivalent) preferred.
• Native or near-native English language skills spoken and written required.
• 10+ years of communications experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare or related industry preferred.
• Previous vaccines experience (plus).
• Proven experience in strategic planning and global communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global external and internal communications strategy for Flu & Covid products and related assets.
• Provide strategic guidance to the Global Flu & Covid Franchise to ensure consistent external communications across functions and geographies.
• Create, develop and implement annual Communication Plans with Vaccines Cross-Portfolio teams and market units.
• Lead the development and implementation of global communications for Flu/Covid vaccines.
• Ensure alignment of Flu and Covid messaging with Sanofi strategy and business priorities.
• Oversee media relations, editorials, image, reputation, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Global Media Relations and Investor Relations to reflect portfolio strategy and performance.
• Drive issues management, crisis preparedness and response within scope of responsibility.
• Ensure basic materials are in place for markets to leverage.
• Manage an annual budget in cooperation with the wider team.
