Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Flight Attendant for an onsite role supporting RTX-owned or leased aircraft. The position combines in-flight safety, passenger service and ground-based responsibilities, with travel and schedule flexibility required.

Qualifications include a university or advanced degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9 years without a degree; strong culinary and customer-service skills; and cabin-safety training. Must live within an hour of the RTX Flight Department base.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years, or 9 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
• Prior business aviation experience as a Flight Attendant.
• Valid certificate of training from an approved cabin safety training provider (FACTS/Aircare/FlightSafety International) including in-flight illness and injury management, CPR and AED use.
• Demonstrated culinary, food-safety, presentation and executive-service experience.
• Must maintain a residence within one hour of the RTX Flight Department base.
• Must reside within one hour of RTX Flight Department base.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flight Attendant duties aboard RTX-owned or leased aircraft, ensuring safe and secure transportation for RTX personnel, customers and guests, with vigilant situational awareness.
• Execute duties in accordance with FAA and ICAO requirements, RTX Flight policies, SOPs and IS-BAO.
• Ensure activities comply with RTX, EH&S and Ethics policies and guidelines.
• Prepare cabin, galley, emergency equipment, and passenger-service supplies; verify aircraft readiness and complete required safety checks and 5S.
• Apply Crew Resource Management principles and use all available resources including checklists and crew.
• Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, procedures, standards and regulations.
• Deliver discreet, personalized, professional service within safety and policy parameters.
• Coordinate catering, materials and services from vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in stockroom operations, inventory control, expense reporting and departmental projects.
