Husqvarna is seeking a Director of Strategic Sourcing to lead strategic initiatives for finished goods procurement and supplier development. You will drive an optimized supply base, improve service, quality and total cost of ownership through cross-functional collaboration with product management, marketing, engineering and supply chain.

The role requires directing supplier relationships, implementing cost-reduction strategies, and managing contract governance for global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field; Advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in high volume manufacturing, including 6 years of strategic sourcing; OPE industry experience preferred
• Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma methodologies experience or certification preferred
• Strong cross cultural negotiation skills and global collaboration mindset
• Proven success with large contract negotiations and contract management

Responsabilités

• Develop strategic initiatives and KPIs aligned with business objectives; create processes for success
• Lead finished goods sourcing strategy and supplier relationships to improve cost, quality and delivery
• Manage commercial relationships with suppliers, including contract negotiations and governance
• Implement strategies for cost reduction and performance improvements; analyze market trends and customer needs
• Drive supplier performance, contract effectiveness, and lifecycle management
• Oversee supplier risk management, quality and regulatory compliance across regions
• Support product directors and external partners to identify innovative product ideas
• Cultivate industry network and provide business intelligence to senior leadership
