Job summary

Barrick Mining Corporation is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting and Consolidations, to lead the monthly, quarterly and year-end close and produce consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS. You will manage intercompany eliminations, currency translation, reporting packages and working papers, partnering with Controllership, FP&A, Tax and Treasury.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of progressive financial reporting and consolidation experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with SOX internal controls and external audits.
• Public company, multi-entity, multi-currency environment experience preferred.
• Mining, natural resources or asset-intensive industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day consolidation process end-to-end, including intercompany eliminations and currency translation.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and reporting packages under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Coordinate the financial close calendar across regional and site finance teams and resolve issues.
• Prepare reporting for the Nevada joint venture and support audits with external auditors.
• Maintain and execute SOX controls over financial reporting within close and consolidation cycle.
• Lead, coach and develop members of the reporting team and improve standardization.
• Ensure documentation of procedures, policies and controls for audit readiness.
