Remitly, Inc. seeks a senior financial crimes leader to own the strategic investigations and global intelligence program across high‑risk typologies.

You will drive detection, mitigation, and reporting strategies, manage relationships with law enforcement and FIUs, and build a scalable, governance‑driven approach to ensure compliant, safe money movement worldwide. Your remit includes shaping the intelligence product set, defining operating models, and leading a globally distributed team of

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial crime, including significant time in a regulatory, law enforcement, or FIU.
• Deep expertise in high risk typologies: trafficking networks, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing.
• Experience building and sustaining law enforcement relationships and public-private partnerships.
• Hands-on fluency with SQL or equivalent.
• Executive-grade communication to brief boards and federal agents.

Responsabilités

• Own Remitly's global financial crime intelligence and investigations program.
• Define operating model, analytic tradecraft, and intelligence product set with clear confidence levels.
• Develop detection, mitigation, and reporting strategies with cross-functional partners (TM, Data Science, Eng).
• Quantify coverage, identify gaps, and drive remediation to closure.
• Lead strategic investigations for the highest severity matters, with governance and external engagement.
