Job summary

Davis-Standard, LLC seeks a finance professional to support treasury, tax, and accounting functions globally from our Chicago area office. You will pull data, build schedules, reconcile balances, and respond to auditors and stakeholders with accuracy and timeliness.

The role offers broad exposure across treasury, tax, and accounting processes, with ownership of defined recurring tasks end-to-end and collaboration with corporate finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
• Excellent organization and follow-through on commitments.
• A service mindset: treat internal requests as deadlines and flag slippage proactively.
• Ability to handle multiple directions across time zones and stakeholders.
• Clear written communication—work stands on its own without explanation.

Responsibilities

• Support Treasury activities: cash forecast inputs and intercompany cash pooling.
• Prepare tax and compliance schedules and assist with income tax provisions.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for cash, debt, intercompany, and FX.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and research discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end variance analysis and commentary for corporate review.
• Contribute to close process documentation and improvements.
