Job summary

Warren Rupp, an IDEX business unit, seeks a Director of Finance & IT in Mansfield, OH to lead the finance and IT functions, align with the SDFC VP, and drive profitable growth. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, internal controls, and strong leadership of cross-functional teams.

The position requires 12–15 years of progressive finance leadership in manufacturing, US GAAP expertise, and experience implementing SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent advanced financial credential preferred.
• Minimum 1215 years of progressive Finance leadership experience, preferably within a global manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial advisor to the General Manager and Warren Rupp Leadership Team.
• Provide financial analysis and decision support to drive revenue growth, profitability improvement, resource allocation, working capital optimization, and cash flow performance.
• Lead development of business strategies through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecast, strategic planning, and long-range planning processes.
• Drive performance management through timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and business performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all IDEX financial policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.
• Maintain a robust SOX-compliant control environment and oversee audit activities.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams to deliver on business performance.
• Identify and drive productivity initiatives, cost optimization efforts, continuous improvement and margin expansion opportunities.
• Drive working capital optimization initiatives, including inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow performance.
• Lead capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and post-investment performance reviews.
• Provide overall leadership for the IT function, including developing and executing the business units technology roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
• Build, lead, and develop high-performing Finance and IT teams demonstrating servant leadership and fostering a culture of accountability.
