Job summary

thyssenkrupp Automotive is seeking a Finance Intern to assist the North America Finance team with accounting, accounts payable, reporting, and project controlling. The role involves SAP-related tasks and collaboration with teams across the United States and global locations.

The internship lasts a minimum of six months (nine months preferred), with an expected 30–40 hours per week. Candidates should be pursuing or holding a degree in finance, accounting, or business, with strong Excel skills and

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Alternate: candidate with Bachelor’s degree and prior internship experience.
• Basic accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support invoice processing, billing, receivables monitoring, and collections.
• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP; review transactions for accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Track project costs, purchase orders, and commitments.
• Produce cost reports, variance analyses, and project summaries.
• Support financial reporting and documentation requirements.
• Assist with bank research, reconciliations, and treasury inquiries.
• Organize audit and compliance documentation; manage regulatory filings.
• Maintain financial trackers, spreadsheets, and reporting databases.
• Assist data extraction and analysis from SAP and other systems.
