• Ability to work 20-28 hours on-site at Poway, CA facility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred; advanced Excel; Power BI/PowerPivot.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Accounting department with general administration.
• Accurately reconciles customer accounts receivable accounts.
• Follows up with customers on overdue items.
• Reviews and sends monthly statements.
• Sets up new customer and vendor accounts.
• Reviews and sends customer invoices.
• Completes inventory analysis.
• Reconciles logistics monthly spend.
• Maintains integrity and accountability in performance.
• Ensures compliance with organizational standards and policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your responsibilities

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and education.

Your profile

Candidates for the Accounting Intern role should posses the following:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to work 20-28 hours on-site at our Poway, CA facility.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• PowerBI and PowerPivots experience strongly preferred.
• Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational skills.
