Job summary

Distribusion is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the Accounting and Finance function across global markets, reporting to the CFO. The role focuses on robust financial operations, strategic planning, and scalable processes for a fast-growing travel tech company.

You will build a high-performing team and partner with product, technology, commercial, and operations to drive financial strategy. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years PQE, Big 4 background, and experience managing 10+ professionals,

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to push boundaries in numbers and reporting
• Experience leading large teams (10+ people)
• Experience with international regulations and cross-border financial processes
• Knowledge of taxation rules and financial compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounting and Finance function globally
• Oversee invoicing, accounting, controlling, budgeting, liquidity and cash flow management
• Manage global clearing and settlement operations
• Drive process improvements using automation and modern tech stacks
• Ensure compliant internal and external financial reporting
• Manage relationships with banks, accounting firms, authorities and service providers
• Monitor cash flow, FX exposure and liquidity to meet obligations
• Collaborate with CFO and senior leaders on financial strategy and planning
• Support due diligence for funding rounds
• Provide leadership and build a scalable finance team
