Job summary

ChemPoint seeks a Director of Finance to lead accounting, FP&A, credit, tax and controls for NA, EMEA, and Mexico. You will guide forecasting, AOP, and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely insights for the CFO and leadership.

You will develop and coach managers, establish strong processes, and partner with Univar Solutions U.S. Finance teams to share best practices. Hybrid role in Bellevue, WA with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting required.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience required.
• CPA and/or CMA designation preferred.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with executive and finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial operations, credit, sales tax, and FP&A across NA, EMEA, and Mexico with clear ownership and escalation paths.
• Own month-end close, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, internal controls, audit support and compliance activities.
• Establish rigorous preparer and reviewer processes to catch errors before CFO review.
• Develop and coach managers with clear expectations and decision rights.
• Direct forecasting, AOP, and management reporting with insights for risks and opportunities.
