Job summary

Coherent Corp. seeks a seasoned finance professional to own financial close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

You will process journal entries and reconciliations, partner with shared services and global finance, and ensure reserves and internal controls are appropriately supported. You will analyze gross margin, support capital projects, review spend, and assist with planning and forecast activities, collaborating with tax and controllers on transfer pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
• Manufacturing accounting background, ideally in vertically integrated environments.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Advanced Oracle and Hyperion, MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on key metrics with analysis for leadership.
• Review department expenses and headcount; understand variances between forecast and budget.
• Assist in 5 Year Plan, Budget, & Forecasts; prepare budget/forecast schedules.
