Job summary

GED Integrated Solutions Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to install, configure, and service production lines at customer sites across North America.

You will handle mechanical and electrical setup, PLC controls, and pneumatic systems, with hands-on training and troubleshooting as needed. The role requires 2+ years in controls, mechanics, and pneumatics, plus a background in mechatronics and robotics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology, or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in controls, mechanics, and pneumatics.
• Experience with robotics preferred.
• Experience with mechatronics and machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission new units and complex production lines at customer locations.
• Set up mechanical workings and controls (electrical, PLC, and pneumatic).
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and training as part of after-sales service.
• Maintain paperwork such as timesheets, work orders and service reports.
• Maintain customer relations and promote company revenue growth.
• Manage expenses.
• All other duties as assigned.
