Job summary

Doble Engineering in Accident, MD is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide maintenance and technical support for Doble equipment at customer locations, including domestic and international sites. The role is based in Accident, MD and reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities include on-site analysis and repair of high voltage/test equipment, calibration, preparing quotations, and documenting service visits. Travel to client sites worldwide may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical technology or equivalent training.
• 0-1 years experience in field service preferred.
• Proficient with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• On-site analysis and repair of high voltage/test equipment with supervisor assistance.
• On-site calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare quotations for service quotes and stock parts/services.
• Communicate with customers to gather performance data and coordinate service.
• Direct interaction with customers and scheduling.
• Replace faulty components with supervisor approval.
• Modify systems after acceptance with engineering support.
