Job summary

Aetna Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to ensure installation, commissioning, maintenance, and after-sales support of automated machines at customer sites. The role involves extensive travel and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold high quality service.

Requires a technical diploma in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, plus 2 years of experience in industrial automation and the ability to read drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
• Good command of English (minimum B1 spoken).
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 180 days per year).

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and start-up custom machinery and systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and corrective interventions at customer sites.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and contribute to product improvements.
• Prepare technical service reports and complete necessary documentation.
• Deliver technical training to customer personnel as required.
