Job summary

Fortinet Field CISO is a senior security advisor who operates at the intersection of security strategy and executive influence, translating cybersecurity challenges into business outcomes. You will position the Fortinet platform as the foundation of modern security programs for the world’s largest organizations.

You will report to the CISO and support Fortinet’s sales, marketing, and communications teams to grow revenue, collaborating with partners and the global delivery team to ensure

Qualifications

• 15+ years of security software/hardware experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated proficiency in security strategy and ecosystems
• Strong network within CISO communities and executive circles
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Deep expertise in cloud security, identity, threat detection & response, OT/ICS, or GRC

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to CISOs, CIOs, and boards of directors at key accounts.
• Lead executive briefings, security workshops, and board-level presentations to advance pipeline and close
• Represent the company at industry conferences and in media to drive brand authority
• Shape roadmap priorities by acting as the voice of the CISO community to product/engineering
• Cultivate a network of CISO champions and reference customers through regional forums and executive programs
• Help customers mature security programs including zero trust, cloud security posture, incident response, and regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2, DORA)
