Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a Field CISO to join its strategy organization. This senior executive role reports to the security leadership, advising CISOs, CIOs, CTOs in large private and public companies, shaping security strategy and risk posture for complex enterprise networks and the SASE platform.

You will partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to build executive trust, create security playbooks, and influence strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as CISO in large enterprises.
• 20+ years in cybersecurity with executive accountability.
• Experience leading security in complex, global environments.
• Active network of security executives to build access and insight.
• Willingness to travel extensively (travel >50%).
• Deep understanding of SASE, SSE, Zero Trust, cloud security, AI security.
• Strong executive presence, public speaking, and storytelling.
• Commercial judgment and cross-functional discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to CISOs, CIOs, CTOs and boards.
• Lead peer-level security conversations on risk and resilience.
• Leverage network to create executive access and references.
• Shape strategic opportunities and executive messaging.
• Translate platform value into executive outcomes.
• Represent Cato in boards, industry events, and media.
• Provide feedback to product and leadership based on customer priorities.
• Build repeatable field assets like playbooks and board messaging.
